Today in my class we did music & emotions.Miss Tuia  told us what to do.She told us to do ctrl l and ctrl c to select the song that we  wanted to put on our music & emotions activity.Then Miss Tuia told the class to  go on youtube to find a song that is an emotion song.When me and my class went on youtube we all typed a  song that was a emotion song.It was  hard to pick songs to put on our music & emotions activity.Then I had to post it  on  our blog.

Today we learned about William Shakespeare.We learned that William Shakespeare was a writer and he  made plays that are Romeo and Juliet King lear  julius caesar The tempest Much Ado About Nothing.This term we will be learning new things.

 On Monday 29th of April Pt England School and the teachers had an immersion assembly in the hall. The teachers did plays to show the children what they will be learning about this term. This term our theme is Transformers.

 

Team 1  did Guess the  emotion like a game show. The funniest part was when Ms Hockly chose herself to be the winner.

 

Team 2 did a Story book about New Zealand birds and insects. The funniest was when the team 2 teachers dressed up in costumes. Ms Teleso was a penguin. Mrs Carter was a Pukeko. Mrs Wilson was a kiwi.

 

Then team 3 did a play called Matilda. Mrs Moala made Mr TOa eat a whole cake because he ate hers. The funniest part was when Mr Toa put the cake on Mrs Moala’s face.

 

Then it was team 4 did Guess the emotion but in charades. The teachers had to act out the emotion using actions only, they weren’t allowed to talk. It was easy to guess the Emotions 

 

Last, it was team 5. They acted out Cinderella. The funniest part was when the teachers dressed up and Mr Moran dressed up as Cinderella. He even had to wear heels. All of the teachers were so funny, even Mr Wiseman who was reading the story in an accent. 

 

I am  looking forward to to seeing the great things we will be learning about this term.
